| The Douglas Legacy Arctic Power System has been specially designed to answer the needs of the most demanding cold storage and freezer applications. The Legacy Arctic Battery integrates the thick-plate Legacy High Performance Battery with a newly developed Arctic Electrolyte solution. This solution combats de-ration of capacity and is more forgiving at the low depth of discharge rates. Combine this with a newly designed Thermal Tray Insulator and the Legacy Arctic Battery will provide the most effective capacity and voltage for cold storage/freeze applications. The Legacy Arctic Power System matches this new battery with a unique Controlled Ferro-Resonant (CFR) Charger which has an optimized cold temperature setting that more effectively manages the charge cycle; protecting the battery against under-charging in cold temperatures. |  |
